Please read the following terms & conditions before the commencement of your training at The Confidence Lab. Parents and guardians of learners below 18 years of age should do the needful. By enrolling in classes at The Confidence Lab, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions mentioned below.
1. Enrollment and Registration:
1.1. To enroll in classes at The Confidence Lab, all participants must complete the registration process and provide accurate personal and contact information.
1.2. All first-time learners pay a one-time registration fee of AED 175/- in addition to the course fee.
1.3. Upon registration and payment, it is understood that the Parent/Learner has read and agrees to The Confidence Lab’s Terms & Conditions.
1.4. Parents/Learners will be required to fill/read/sign the Code of Conduct and Discovery Forms before the commencement of training. This makes the training journey smooth, clear and successful.
2. Sessions:
2.1. We conduct 2 hours of training across all our packages and courses. One session accounts for 60 minutes of class time with group and/ or individual training.
2.2. Batches are offered based on the Learner’s age, subject and skill-sets. The team will suggest a batch that best suits the learner’s training needs and personality.
2.3. We offer in-person sessions for all our courses and online sessions for some of our subjects. Our schedules and batch timings are fixed and cannot be modulated.
2.4. Attendance for all sessions is crucial.
3. Attendance & Participation:
3.1. Regular attendance, punctuality, and active participation is a must to enhance the learning experience and to build a positive classroom atmosphere.
3.2. Learners must arrive at The Confidence Lab 5-10 minutes prior to the session to ensure they're well-settled and ready to take on the lesson. In case of late arrival, the Learner will be taught for the remainder of the session time only.
3.3. It is expected that the learner carries all the required class materials (as recommended by the trainers), diligently completes any/all Funjects (Homework) and continuously works to apply creative skills in their daily lives. A dedicated course notebook/sketch book must be carried with the required stationery each class.
3.4. Learners must wear comfortable clothes and closed footwear for safe performance and participation.
4. Payment Schedule:
4.1. Payments are to be made in advance, ensuring timely processing and securing your spot in the desired classes. Payments for classes at The Confidence Lab are due by the 23rd of each month for the following month's classes. All fees are to be paid in advance and in full before the commencement of the training.
4.2. Payments can be made through the following channels. Select your preferred payment method to complete your payment process. Cash Cheque Online Bank Transfer Card Payment Payment Link (charged at 3% additional fee) .
4.3. Payments can be made as per the following packages: Garden Package: 1.5 months: 12 sessions Woods Package: 3 months: 24 sessions Forest Package: 6 months: 48 sessions .
4.4. All payments will be charged a 5% VAT fee. 4.5. Failure to complete payment by the first class will lead to a late payment charge of AED 150/- per day of the delayed amount.
4.6.The management has the right to refuse admission to the training in case of no/ late payment. All dues are to be paid for the learner to attend training
4.7.The current fee structure is since January 2025.
5. Event & External Exam Payments:
5.1. Extra fee is charged for select events, external exams' enrollment, extra classes and performances. This fee is charged in advance and must be completed upon participation confirmation.
5.2. Event/performance/exam participation & enrolment forms must be filled to confirm participation.
5.3 Event Production is used for event costs ranging from but not limited to costumes, props, sound-light, prints etc. This fee is charged in advance and must be completed upon participation confirmation, no later than a minimum of one month prior to the event. The accounts team will notify learners of the cut-off payment date and failure to make the payment in time may lead to the Learner not being included in the event and/or will incur a late payment charge and must be paid in full for the Learner to part of the event/performance.
5.4 Any fee regarding External Examinations' enrollment such as Trinity College London Exams, DELF (French Examinations), etc. are to be paid in full by the Learner by the recommended date. The Confidence Lab holds no obligation for the Learner to be enrolled in case of a failure of payment in time.
6. Spelling Bee Training:
6.1. Participation in The Confidence Lab’s Spelling Bee Training Programs does not guarantee advancement or winning in competition rounds.
6.2. Our focus is on developing skills, building confidence, and fostering personal growth. While outcomes may vary, we are committed to supporting each Learner’s long-term progress and overall development.
7. Cancellation & Refunds:
7.1. Cancellations are not refunded, replaced, transferred or carried forward.
7.2. Regular Attendance is a mandatory.
7.3. Refunds will not be provided for missed sessions or early withdrawal from any of our courses and packages.
7.4. Our standard non-refund policy remains in effect during "Force Majeure" events.
8. Replacement Sessions:
8.1. Fixed replacement sessions are offered in our Woods & Forest Packages. If you choose the Woods Package, you are offered 2 replacement sessions in case of absence. If you choose the Forest Package, you are offered 4 replacement sessions in case of absence. Learners have to inform the team about the absence 48 hours in advance in writing through email.
8.2. Replacement sessions have to be covered within the paid package term. They cannot be refunded, transferred or carried forward outside the paid package term.
8.3 Replacements will be offered according to The Confidence Lab’s existing training schedule and will/may vary from the learner’s regular class schedule. The team holds no obligation to make adjustments for the learner regarding the schedule.
8.4. It is solely the learners’ responsibility to attend the replacement session/s and must coordinate with the team in advance for the required schedule details.
9. Media & Content:
9.1. By participating in activities, events and courses at The Confidence Lab, you grant the institute permission to capture and use photos, videos, and content that may include your likeness, voice, and performances for promotional, educational, informational and communication purposes across various online and offline platforms.
9.2. The institute has the right to use the captured content across various platforms, including online, digital, print, and media channels. You release The Confidence Lab from any liability and understand that no compensation will be provided for the content's use.
9.3. The institute retains ownership of the captured content and can edit, modify, or adapt it as needed. If you object to specific content featuring you, you may contact The Confidence Lab, but the institute is not obligated to remove or modify content that has already been used.
10. Gaia Referral Program:
10.1. The referring family has to be enrolled with The Confidence Lab to be part of the Referral Program.
10.2. Referred families must be new to The Confidence Lab and it should be their first time being enrolled with us.
10.3. The referring family gets access to the credit as soon as the admission is confirmed.
10.4. The referred learner gets to be part of the referral program upon admission and thereafter, they receive their 3 unique referral codes.
10.5. The validity of the referral code is unto 12 months from the date of admission.
10.6. The credit received is non-transferable and non-redeemable by cash.
10.7. The credit can be applied to our Super Early Bird, Early Bird offers and sibling discounts only.
